Kim Condrin is the founder of Organize To Order and her passion comes from helping others. She started her business after 9/11 when she was all too vividly reminded of the importance of TIME … time to spend on those things that truly mattered in a person’s life whether a home-owner, a business-owner, entrepreneur, parent or senior.
Kim attended Simon Fraser University in British Columbia and majored in psychology. While in school, she worked for a law firm as a ‘Control Officer’ and then spent 6 years working in both the emergency admitting department and on the pediatrics floor of a busy municipal hospital. It was here that she learned to focus on her work despite chaotic surroundings.
Kim believes strongly in ‘giving back’ and spent years volunteering in the communities organizing everything from fund raising events to auctions. She takes great pride in having helped to develop a positive reinforcement program for high schools that received national attention and is still in operation today.
She is an advocate for animal rights and worked in animal rescue in Surrey, B.C., Portland, OR and in Seattle where she currently resides. She has taught pre-school aged children in Sunday School, art classes throughout her children’s elementary years and when time permits currently, she speaks to all sized groups from large companies to small women’s groups.
She is certified to teach organizational skills in elementary schools and has taught at the college level. She is also a frequent mentor to new organizers entering the profession.
Kim is a member of the prestigious Golden Circle of NAPO (the National Association of Professional Organizers) which recognizes members who have an elevated level of experience and who have been engaged in the business of organizing for at least five years. In 2007, after studying for six months, she passed her board certification exam in order to validate her knowledge and experience based on the highest industry, psychometric and legal standards.
Organize To Order has been featured or quoted in ‘Destination Issaquah,’ ‘Parent/Child Magazine,’ on KONG TV, ‘Parent Map’ and in the ‘Seattle Times.’
